May Group Shinrin-yoku Walk

  • Octagon Shelter 801 Truxell Road Peninsula, OH, 44264 United States (map)

Reconnect with yourself and the world around you — join us on a Shinrin-yoku walk!

Breathe in the fresh air and immerse yourself in the present moment. This enriching experience fosters a deeper understanding of your unique relationship with nature and encourages the lasting benefits of time spent with nature: reduced stress, increased creativity, and more. Each experience is unique to the individual and group.

Beginning and ending with meditations, Shinrin-yoku walks cover <1-mile and focus on the internal/mental exercise rather than the physical exercise. Participants are offered invitations to engage each sense and connect deeper with the world around them. Each walk concludes with tea and time with community.
